Denmark: All Leagues, Cups, and Competitors Live Scores and Tables
History and Background
The Danish Superliga, which was founded in 1991, took the place of the Danish 1st Division as Denmark’s top football league. Ten clubs made up the league, and play began in the spring of 1991. Teams played twice in the first half of the two-year event, after which the points of the worst two teams were reduced. The 32 games of a season were played by the eight surviving clubs, each twice. When there were 12 teams, each playing three times for 33 games a season, the practice was dropped in 1995–96. The league, then known as Coca-Cola Ligaen, had its first sponsor in Coca-Cola. The league was rebranded as Faxe Kondi Ligaen, and Faxe Brewery became the first sponsor. Before the 2001–02 season, SAS System took over as the primary sponsor, and the league was rebranded as SAS Ligaen. Alka became the league’s naming sponsor and the league changed its name to Alka Superliga in 2015. All the live score results of Denmark league will be shown on https://score808lives.com/.
